Gregg brought back the passion to my love of playing guitar. I started to play guitar probably 20 years ago but never took a lesson so I wasn’t that great. My wife surprised me with a package of 10 lessons with Gregg and it took me one lesson to realize again how much I love it. My skills are improving so much from one lesson to another and I’m looking forward to those lessons like a little kid (which unfortunately I’m not 🙂 ). My work, like many others in DC, is crazy and this is also kind of my therapy for all the stress. There is no doubt that Gregg is a great guitar player with an amazing understanding of the theory and music. But he always puts himself in your shoes as a student and gives you those great tips that you never figured out or never thought of before. As a teacher, Gregg has the perfect balance of kindness, patience, and enthusiasm. I always thought that I’m just a moderate guitar player but now I’m starting to feel that I can actually play, and I’m excited to continue my lessons with Gregg and see how good I can get.

Great guitar instructor! Is very clearly a guitar master!! But understands how to help you establish a solid foundation so that you can one day master guitar too. Easy to talk to, listens to what you want to learn and finds the best way for you to learn it! Flexible and always on time. Clearly very passionate about playing and teaching guitar. Reasonably priced (I suggest the package of 5 sessions) and excellent location! Sessions are usually about 40-45 minutes.
