Gregg has over 30 years of experience playing and teaching guitar. Weaved together with his knowledge in philosophy, mentoring, music neurology, and music therapy he created a method of learning and teaching designed to bring out a students full potential. He has a free spirited and positive attitude. His engaging instructional technique, in addition to his musical knowledge is sure to encourage and inspire even the novice musician. Gregg believes in the power of practice, knows it's essential to make progress, and he feels students should enjoy themselves as they grow through their musical journey. Gregg at DC Guitar Lessons has served over 4,000 students since 1999. He has performed his original acoustic rock music both locally & nationally, for small and large audiences. He is the founder and president of Gregg's Guitar Mentoring (GNG) Children's Music charity in Washington DC MD VA; providing guitars and free instruction to foster kids and at risk youth.

Private Guitar Instruction 1999-Present
Providing guitar and bass lessons in private studio. Has a unique approach to fretboard logic, music theory, and simple fun playing techniques.
Sun Foundation, Children of the Earth, Ancestral Knowledge. Teach children wilderness survival skills, such as shelter, fire by friction, location and purification of water, location and preparation of food. Utilizing varied instructional techniques, such as games, outdoor adventures, story telling, advanced mentoring skills.
On-site Carpentry/Building Training 1987-2004
Ryan Construction Services Trained personnel to operate heavy machinery, read blueprints, safely perform complicated carpentry skills, and concrete form work. On site safety training.
Gregg’s blend of guitar playing experience, knowledge of music theory, and studies of human brain patterns create a well balanced and fun teaching method, which will inspire even the novice musician. Although he was born in Washington, D.C. he spent most of his early years living in the islands of the Florida Keys. His studio reflects the positive and laidback lifestyle of the islands and a love for the guitar.
